Come by for the game

When the big game is on, this is what the room feels like. 11 TVs spread around, a good view from just about any seat, and a crowd that cares. Settle in at the bar or grab the Tavern Platter for the table.

Two nights worth planning around

Built by neighbors, for the village

Pleasantville Tavern was started by longtime Pleasantville residents who missed having a real gathering place in town. The kind of spot where families come after games and friends catch up over a drink.

So they took over the old Lucy's corner on Bedford Road and built it. One partner managed a Manhattan sports bar for years. The other has called the village home for nearly two decades. In the kitchen, Michelin-trained chef Dennis Cruz gives pub classics a little more care. Behind the bar, the taps pour local craft beer, including Soul Brewing from just down the street.

Good food, good company, and a place to feel at home.
